Aurora Aksnes Born June 15 1996 in Stavanger and is known professionally as Aurora or, sometimes, stylized as AURORA is an Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015, and was praised by journalists as well as the media. The singer has released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by the band Oasis for a Christmas advertisement by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry, who endorsed the track Runaway by her, offered it some more recognition. Honor her day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft, and becoming attracted by its sounds.
